Extended Hours:
• Wed, Oct. 28 – Fri, Oct. 30: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 31: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Monday, Nov. 2: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Multnomah County voters are joining City of Portland voters in using ranked choice voting in candidate contests for the upcoming Nov. 3, 2026 Election.

Ranked choice voting allows voters to rank candidates in order of preference instead of choosing only one candidate.

Earlier this month, we celebrated the people who remind us what's possible when a community comes together.

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the 2026 Judge Stephen B. Herrell Awards recognized advocates, survivors, service providers, and leaders whose work is helping create safety, healing, and justice across Multnomah County.

"No single advocate, organization, court, government agency, or community can create safety on its own." And yet, when we work together, the impact is extraordinary. Last year alone, county-funded domestic and sexual violence programs helped more than 1,300 people move from unsafe circumstances into new housing.

Congratulations to this year's honorees, and thank you to everyone who continues to show up with compassion, courage, and care for survivors and their families 💜

🎉 TODAY (Oct. 13, 2026) is the Voter Registration Deadline for the Nov. 3, 2026, General Election!

Now is the time to register to vote or check that your voter registration information is up to date — including your current residence and mailing address.

To register to vote in Oregon, you must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Oregon, at least 16 years old (you will receive your ballot once you are 18).

Voters who are not yet registered can complete their registration online at: sos.oregon.gov/elections/Pages/default.aspx

You will be asked to provide your Oregon-issued driver's license or state ID card number, or the last four digits of your Social Security number, if you do not have an Oregon driver’s license or ID card.
