Multnomah Youth Commission is currently accepting applications from youth for the 2018-2019 school year. Youth between the ages of 13-21 who are interested in making our community a better place are strongly encouraged to apply.

Please share with interested youth, youth organizations, schools, teachers, counselors. Encourage all youth to apply.

The Multnomah Youth Commission is looking for youth to apply! Applications are due tomorrow, Thursday April 27. Please encourage any young person you know who will be between the ages of 13-21 who live, work, or go to school in Multnomah County. Youth Commissioners serve a one-year term and commit up to 15 hours per month to help support the County & City on issues that impact the lives of their peers. No special skills or experience required; just a passion for making our community a better place.

MYC provides monthly transit passes, and food at meetings. Childcare is also available upon request. Visit www.ourcommission.org to apply and read more about the MYC.

The SummerWorks program provides young people with job experiences where they can learn critical workplace skills and a support network. The program primarily serves young people who are low income or at risk. Applications are due today- takes about 10-15 min to complete.

Applications are now open for young people ages 16 to 24 to apply for summer jobs in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors in Multnomah and Washington counties.

Do you work with youth between the ages of 13-21? Do you know a youth who wants to make our city and county a better place for all youth? Please help us spread the word for the Multnomah Youth Commission. We will be doing recruitment presentation this month at schools and youth serving organizations throughout Multnomah County, let us know if you want us to come to you!

PLEASE help us get the word out for next year's Multnomah Youth Commission. We are looking for youth who truly represent the cross-section of demographics, identities, and experiences of ALL young people in our community. Application information is below.
