As we wrap up , it’s the perfect time to reflect on what makes Oregon such a standout in the wine industry. 🍷✨
With over 1,000 wineries, 23 distinct growing regions, and a reputation as the third-largest wine-grape-producing state in the U.S., it’s no wonder our state has earned its place on the global wine map! From the vineyards of the Willamette Valley to the breathtaking landscapes of Southern Oregon, Oregon continues to set the bar for quality and innovation in winemaking.
In 2024, Oregon’s wine industry brought $8.487 billion into the economy. Over 1,535 growers produced a total crop value of $329.1 million, with 47,343 planted acres of which more than 610 are estate vineyards, and 39,178 acres harvested.
Beyond crafting amazing wines, Oregon wineries play a vital role in creating jobs, fostering sustainable agricultural practices, encouraging tourism, and supporting the hospitality industry.
