WWMS 8th Grade Washington, D.C. Trip – Day 1 (June 2026) fix some pictures 746. Do you think Mr.

WWMS 8th grade students had a fun-filled and educational first day exploring Washington, D.C. Students visited the Capitol, meet Senator Young, observed a live Senate debate, and toured several iconic landmarks, including the U.S. Marine Corps Memorial, the White House, the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, and the Jefferson Memorial. It was an exciting day filled with learning, history, and unforgettable experiences as students explored our nation’s capital.

We look forward to another great day of adventures tomorrow! 🇺🇸

Mark your calendars! Come join the School Town of Munster and the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Awareness Team (IDEA) for the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration on June 19th from 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM at Wilbur Wright Middle School. This is a FREE Event for the whole family. We are super excited for this yearly tradition in the School Town of Munster. There will be food trucks, fun activities for the whole family, and educational stations. We want to celebrate and let attendees know the reason for this holiday.
