The Libraries in Clackamas County (LINCC) are hosting the first Freedom to Read Art Contest for teens. Using any medium you choose, create a piece of visual art that shows what the freedom to read means to you. Cash prizes will be awarded!

As part of Freedom to Read Month, we are hosting a facilitated conversation about "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," moderated by a librarian and grounded in the Oregon Humanities model of thoughtful reflection, shared dialogue, and connection. We will meet at the Adult Community Center on Sunday, October 25th at 2pm.

No prior experience is needed, and everyone is welcome, whether you’re reading the book for the first time or returning to it years later.
