WHAT: A short & sweet opportunity to volunteer alongside your child(ren) to help raise money for the PAL Library!

End-of-School-Year Mini Swap! 
Swap all the summer fun — books, puzzles, games, outdoor toys, and sports equipment for kids ages 0–14.
Please bring items that are:
• Gently used  
• Clean  
• Functional  
• Complete with no broken or missing parts  
This is a great way to refresh summer activities, reduce waste, raise fund for the library, and share with our community before summer break!

WHEN: Monday, June 8th (times vary)

WHERE: Palisades

If you can’t help out on the day of the event, please consider signing up to donate, bake or craft something to sell at the event.

Event details:

**12:25-12:55, 1st and 2nd grade parents show up, and sign in in the entry area.

12:45-12:55: Students come to the gym, find their seats

12:55-1:00: Parents are ushered into gym

1:00-1:05: Introduction

1:05-1:35: Performances from the 1st and 2nd grade Spanish classes

1:35-1:45: **Transition time for families to enter and leave the gym as needed**

1:45-2:10: Performances from all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Spanish classes

2:10: Parents leave the building.

Teachers bring students back to the classrooms, de-costume, and prepare for a standard end-of-day pickup.

The theme this year is Hawaiian 🌺

Mr. Tuttle has another fun-filled day for the kids.

We are looking for parent volunteers for the snack table and the activities stations.

If you are unable to make it in person, there are snack donation slots open.

Come hungry to International Children’s Day Celebration this Thursday from 4:00–6:30pm at Palisades World Language School!

Admission is free, with food trucks and kids activities wristbands available for purchase. We’ll have delicious food and treats from around the world, including shawarma, Filipino fusion favorites, tacos, burritos, mini donuts, hot dogs, and more. 🍩🌮🥙 Swipe to see the menus.

Bring the whole family for cultural booths, performances, bounce houses, face painting, balloon art, and a joyful celebration of our community.
