Growing innovation from the ground up. 🌱

Faculty, students, local farmers, and community volunteers recently came together at the Madera Community College Agave Innovation Center to plant the first five acres of agave on campus.

This milestone supports hands-on learning, agricultural research, workforce development, and sustainable farming practices while creating new opportunities for students and the Central Valley community.

We look forward to seeing this innovative project continue to grow.

Our colleges are celebrating continued growth in student achievement, with ceremonies expanding to accommodate the rising number of graduates earning degrees and certificates across the Central Valley.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 and to the faculty, staff, families, and communities supporting their success.

A record number of graduates at State Center Community College District are expected to cross the stage this year, reflecting a growing trend of students choosing to attend community colleges.

District officials said some ceremonies have grown so large that they were moved to the Save Mart Center for the first time.
