Fresno State Library’s Special Collections Research Center was awarded a $126,000 grant from the California State Library to expand the Central Valley Rainbow Archives. The grant will support the preservation of late activist Jeffery Robinson’s collection of Central Valley-related historical LGBTQ2+ materials. Bookplate Design Reception! Join us on Thu, April 30 at 1pm in the Maps area (1st Floor) to reveal the winning bookplate design for the Eloise Quiñones-Keber Aztec & Mexican Art History Collection. We will celebrate the student contest winner and honorable mentions with coffee and donuts from Dunkin' and explore this amazing collection of resources. Take a little break and celebrate!

Sunday, May 10: Noon – 2 a.m.
Monday–Wednesday (May 11–13): 7:45 a.m. – 2 a.m.
Lower Level through 3rd Floor open for study.

• Continuous hours—no overnight exit/re-entry required
• Bulldog Card required after 8 p.m.
• Fresno State Police and Public Safety Assistants will be on-site

The future of work is coming fast! Learn how you can thrive in an AI/data/surveillance-driven work world with Dr. Ifeoma Ajunwa from Emory University. 2 p.m. panel discussion moderated by ASI president Camalah Saleh will address student questions and Dr. Ajunwa's lecture "The Quantified Worker" will be at 6 p.m. Both in the Library's Ellipse Gallery, 2nd floor. Free and open to the public!

Get ahead of the curve! Learn how AI will shape your future and how to be ready. On Tues, April 21, attend a panel discussion (2–3:30 p.m.) and the Womack Lecture (6–7 p.m.), both in the Peters Ellipse Gallery on the Library's 2nd Floor. Legal scholar Ifeoma Ajunwa will present “The Quantified Worker,” examining how AI is transforming employment—and what you need to know to navigate it. Womack events are free and open to students and the public.
