Happy last week of October!
It's time for our Wednesday Wishlist! Here are our greatest needs for this week!

Children should be worrying about school, playing with friends, and what they want to be when they grow up. Not whether there will be enough food for dinner.

Right here in Gaston County, families are counting on us. And we're counting on YOU. ❤️

Your donation, no matter the size, can help put food on another family's table.

Will you help us make a difference?

A bag of groceries can mean a parent breathing a little easier or a senior having enough to eat until their next check.

In 2025, we distributed 27,494 food bags to neighbors right here in our community. Your support helps us keep going.

Follow along, share our story, and give if you’re able. Each is a way to help us reach more neighbors.

Thank you so much for helping us care for this community.

❤️ The need in our community isn’t slowing down, but funding is falling short.

Every day, families, seniors and homeless individuals turn to Dallas High Shoals Christian Social Ministry for food, utility assistance, and other essential needs.

Right now, we’re facing a serious funding shortfall, and we need our community’s support to help close the gap.

This isn’t simply another fundraiser or an effort to reach a fundraising goal. This is a very real financial need that directly affects our ability to continue helping our neighbors.

For 40 years, this community has made our work possible. Today, we’re asking you to come alongside us once again.

❤️ Please consider making a financial contribution today and sharing this message with your friends, family, and community.

Together, we can close this gap and continue being there for our neighbors when they need us most.
