The Dallas Police Department would like to extend our condolences to the Milton Family regarding the passing of Pastor Frank Milton.

Dear Dallas,

This announcement is heartbreaking; I will have more to share from a personal perspective later. I want you to be aware of the following:

It is with a broken heart that I share the passing of Alderman Frank Milton.

Frank was more than a public servant; he was a faithful leader, a mentor, a pastor, a veteran, and a friend to so many throughout our community. His servant’s heart, steady wisdom, and deep love for the Town of Dallas touched countless lives.

Frank had a unique way of bringing people together. Whether through his leadership, his ministry, or simply a conversation, he made people feel heard, valued, and cared for. His impact on our town will be felt for generations to come.

On behalf of the Town of Dallas, we extend our deepest prayers and condolences to the Milton family, his church family at First Baptist Church, and all who loved him.

Our community has lost a great man, and he will be deeply missed.
