🎅🎄 **HELP SANTA FILL HIS SLEIGH!** 🎄🎅

The North Pole Club is calling on our wonderful community to help spread a little Christmas magic and winter warmth!

🎁 **CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR SMS STUDENTS**

Santa is scheduled to deliver presents to Springfield Middle School and BCCHS students on **December 18**, and we need donations ASAP! New toys, games, books, art supplies, fun school supplies, and other gifts suitable for middle and high schoolers are welcome.

🧤 **WARMTH FOR OUR COMMUNITY**

We're also collecting clean, gently used or new winter essentials to donate to a local shelter for people experiencing homelessness. Coats, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, warm socks, and other cold-weather necessities can make a real difference when temperatures drop.

📦 **HOW TO DONATE**

Donations can be dropped off at Springfield Middle School (SMS). Can't make it to the school? Reach out to me, and I'll arrange a pickup!

⏰ **Please donate as soon as possible** so we can get everything ready for Santa's December 18 visit!

Every gift, every warm layer, and every act of kindness matters. Let's show our students and neighbors what a caring community can do. 💚❤️

Thank you for helping us spread warmth, kindness, and Christmas magic! 🎄✨

🐾💙💛 **IT'S RIVALRY WEEK, BEARCAT FAMILY!** 💛💙🐾

🔥 **BEARCATS vs. SPARTANS!** 🔥

It's time to show up, show out, and ROAR with Bearcat Pride! We’re excited for this annual rivalry matchup and can't wait to see our Bearcat community cheering loud and proud!

📣 **Planning to cheer on the Bearcats at Lakeview High School? Here are a few important reminders:**

🏟️ **Parking & Entrance:** Fans should park and enter the stadium using the parking lot behind Lakeview Middle School.

👨‍👩‍👧 **Middle School Students:** Middle school-aged students from either school must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.

🎒 **Leave Backpacks at Home:** Backpacks are not permitted inside the stadium.

🎟️ **Student Admission:** Lakeview is offering reduced-price admission to BCCHS students who would otherwise be eligible to attend a BCCHS event and are not on the loss-of-privilege list.

Let's fill the stands with Bearcat spirit, sportsmanship, and community pride! Show our Bearcats what it means to have their community behind them!

🐾 **LET'S ROAR, BEARCATS!**

Important Announcement: No Cell Phones Allowed on Field Trips

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

As we prepare for upcoming school field trips, please be reminded that cell phones are not allowed on any school-sponsored field trips.

This expectation is in place to ensure that students remain focused on the purpose of the trip, actively participate in planned activities, follow staff directions, and remain safe while representing our school.

We ask parents and guardians to discuss this expectation with their students before each trip. Students should leave their cell phones at home. If a student brings a cell phone, it must remain at home or be handled according to school administration's directions and building policy.

If parents or guardians need to contact their child during a field trip, please contact the school office for assistance.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in helping us provide safe, positive, and engaging learning experiences for all students.

Bearcat Pride!

Sincerely,
School Administration

🍧💙💛 BE HERE. BE YOU. BELONG. 💛💙🍧

Hey, Bearcat families! 🐾 Springfield Middle School is hosting a Perfect Attendance Challenge October 26–28!

Our goal? Help every Bearcat make the most of three school days by being present and arriving on time to every class!

🎯 Here's how to qualify:
✅ Attend every class during the challenge.
✅ Be on time to every class.

🍧 The reward: A frozen popsicle on Thursday, October 29!

Please remember: One tardy or absence during the challenge means no treat. School-related activities, including field trips, and Grace Health appointments held at SMS do not count against students.

At SMS, we want every student to know they are an important part of our school community. Showing up helps us learn together, connect with others, and build a stronger Bearcat family!

🐾 Three Days. One Bearcat Family.

💙 Be Here. Be You. Belong. 💛

❤️💛💚 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage at SMS! 💚💛❤️

Yesterday, our Springfield Middle School community came together for our Hispanic Heritage Program! We are grateful to everyone who helped make this celebration possible and to the students who shared their time, talents, and culture with us.

Celebrating Hispanic heritage gives us an opportunity to recognize the rich traditions, history, contributions, and cultures that help make our community special.

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped bring this program to life! We are proud to celebrate the diversity of our Bearcat family. 🐾💙💛

P.S. I have only included pics without student faces here, If you are a parent, there are more pics on Parent Square!
