Hello Bearcats! I've talked to a few of you regarding the Idea we had about our "Bearcat Kares" Program we discussed the last day of our reunion at our Sunday devotional. it has been year. We've had time to Recoup and recover mentally, emotionally and financially. It's been a crazy year for many of us. And many of us have been reaching out to each other. We'll be setting up an official Program in the next couple months with more info so be on the look out for it!
Can you believe it will be 1 year next week that we gathered as a class after 40 years? Time flies, doesn't it

Good Morning Bearcats and Bearkits! This Post is for the Ladies! The Bearkittens in the house! There has been much talk about a Bearkitten retreat for all the ladies. Something with time away, depth, meaning, fun and cultivating and renewing friendships. I like the idea.
The set up would be A weekend a way somewhere here in the state late Summer, early Fall of 2026 or Spring of 2027.

It wouldn't be a luxury cruise or resort. It would be something like:

We would be cooking and preparing shared meals (family style)
Having a few specialized classes: Financial, gardening, Art/crafts, Dance, fitness/health, Life goals/Coaching, emergency preparedness could be potential ideas for classes. Other ideas welcomed. And of course down time for fun and relaxation.


With the state of the world and the economy today it will be important for us to have TRUSTED social networking and villages.

Now, I know people are concerned about their coins as we all should be. Something like this won't be free but can be done frugally.

Right now I'm just putting the idea out there to see if there is any REAL interest.

So BearKittens, give a shout out if you think this is something that might interest you.

Good Morning. Please keep Bearcat Ronnie Hammond and family in your prayers. She unexpected lost her mother a week ago. Losing a parent is extremely difficult, but when it happens around the holidays it feels EXTRA.

Ronnie's mother did work for Battle Creek Public Schools volunteer at Battle Creek Schools, helping special needs adults learn to read & write.

We are sorry for your loss, Ronnie and pray you have comfort and peace during this time 😇

Hey Bearcats! I've been waiting for our reunion Wrap Up meeting so we can Announce some things for Upcoming reunions, but there's been some issues with being able to meet. Good morning Bearcats! Happy July! Can you believe our reunion was just 2 weeks ago?
Time sure flies!

I've been a little busy trying to get settled into moving back to Michigan and am finally able to take a couple breaths.
I wanted to voice my thanks and Gratitude to the Committee and the hardworking and effort you all put in to makes it a great weekend.
Not everything went as planned but everything turned out well.

I want to thank our calls members who showed up in person and virtually.

We tried to be online inclusive when possible so those unable to attend could participate in little ways.

Thank you to those who couldn't come and still donated to the reunion.

I do have a couple of swag bags to mail out to those who qualified for them but were unable to attend.

In the upcoming weeks watch for information regarding volunteering to be on a couple of new Committees for new projects we would like to begin and of course our recruiting for reunions and other class gatherings.

Also know there was a special prayer and blessing over the Battle Creek Central Class of 1985 for health, healing, peace, protection, fellowship and guardianship of each other. We felt that strongly about all of our classmates.

We'll talk more about tht in the future.
