Tree Planting at Begg Park

Today the City of Springfield, CHEP, Mars, the Arbor Day Foundation, and ReLeaf Michigan came together at Begg Park to plant forty trees.

Mayor Burdett delivered the opening remarks. Our Department of Public Works staff deserve special thanks for prepping the park and doing the lion’s share of the work required to make this event possible.

We could not have asked for a better day to plant the trees!
