♻️🍂 The City of Battle Creek, in coordination with the Battle Creek Area Clean Water Partners, would like to share a reminder of upcoming fall environmental events for our neighbors to participate in. 🍂♻️
From recycling opportunities to environmental stewardship activities, we hope our neighbors will get involved to help make our Battle Creek community a safer, cleaner, and more environmentally-friendly place to live, work, and play.
1️⃣ City of Battle Creek environmental events:
🍂 Republic Services Curbside Fall Cleanup
📅 Monday, Sept. 14 - Friday, Sept. 18
⏰ Neighbors’ regular trash pick-up day
📍 All fall cleanup materials should be bagged and placed neatly at the curb for collection on neighbors’ regular trash pick-up day, during the fall cleanup week.
Eligibility: This cleanup opportunity is open to neighbors living within the City of Battle Creek only.
♻️ Scrap Tire Recycling Collection - Battle Creek
📅 Monday, Sept. 14
⏰ 4 to 6 p.m.
📍 135 N. Washington Ave., Battle Creek (NEW location)

♻️ Krazy for the Kazoo Stewardship Day
📅 Saturday, Oct. 3
⏰ 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m./noon
📍 Volunteers will meet at the City of Battle Creek Department of Public Works - located at 150 S. Kendall St., Battle Creek
Eligibility: This event is open to the public.
♻️ Styrofoam (Polystyrene #6) Recycling Collection
📅 Saturday, Oct. 24
⏰ 9 to 11 a.m.

⏰ 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.
📍 Calhoun County Fairgrounds - located at 720 Fair St., Marshall
Eligibility: This event is open to all neighbors living within Calhoun County.
♻️ Scrap Tire Recycling Collection - Marshall
📅 Friday, Sept. 25
⏰ 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Collection may end early, if the trailer is full.)
📍 The specific location (in Marshall) will be shared with registered attendees.
