During our visit to Arlington, we had the opportunity to witness a wreath-laying ceremony in remembrance of those who have served and sacrificed so much. It was a deeply moving moment—quiet, respectful, and filled with meaning. Watching the wreath being placed was a powerful reminder of the honor given to those who came before, and the gratitude that continues long after they are gone. Being there, especially while remembering Adam on the anniversary of his burial, made the moment even more personal. It’s something we will carry with us always.

March 9, 2007 — the day Lt. Adam Dyer was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
Among the rows of white headstones where America honors her heroes, Adam was given the solemn tribute reserved for those who answered their nation’s call. He served with courage, honor, and a deep love for his country.
Today we remember a life of service, a sacrifice for freedom, and a hero who will never be forgotten.
Rest easy, Lieutenant. Your watch is complete. 🇺🇸

April 27, 1980 – January 26, 2007,
holds deep and lasting meaning for our family.
Adam gave his life in service to the United States Navy and to this nation he loved. His courage, integrity, and sense of duty defined who he was—not only as an officer, but as a son and a man of honor.
This drawing was created by Michael Reagan, the eldest son of President Ronald Reagan. Michael devoted himself to honoring fallen American heroes through his artwork, ensuring their faces, their stories, and their sacrifices would never be forgotten. To have Adam remembered in this way is a profound honor.
We are grateful not only for Adam’s service and sacrifice, but also for those like Michael Reagan who choose to remember, to honor, and to keep the legacy of our fallen heroes alive.
Adam’s service will never be forgotten.
