X-ray vision: not a superpower, just part of the job. ⚡

BU2 Taylor and Security Engineering Officer (SEO) Ben Fisher successfully completed the weekly security scanning operations for all items entering Controlled Access Area (CAA) spaces at Embassy Addis Ababa. The items scanned included diplomatic gifts for the Ambassador at post.
This routine security measure supports the integrity of controlled access environments and maintains the security posture of sensitive operational areas.

Did someone say TDY to the Bahamas? 🌴😎

SW1 Beveridge was out at the Nassau Repeater Site conducting hands-on maintenance and detailed system checks to keep communications reliable for current and future operations.

Meanwhile, EO1 Merriman was at CAC locations training supervisors on the newly installed 5X systems, making sure the team is ready to operate, manage, and troubleshoot the upgraded capabilities like pros.

Behind every smooth operation is a Seabee making sure the signal stays strong.

While on TDY in Kingston, SW1 Beveridge and UT1 Graham rolled up their sleeves to tackle several critical issues that had been backlogged for over six months due to recent travel restrictions.

From chasing down ghost voltages and fine-tuning door controls from Post 1 to the CACs at the Embassy, to replacing the X-ray belt at the CAC to get the machine back up and running, their work ensured essential security equipment was fully operational again.

Great work getting systems back on track and keeping the mission moving forward! 💪🔧

Seabee Technical Security Specialist CEC Trotter and Security Technical Specialist Andrew recently completed quarterly preventive maintenance on the Delta Barrier while on TDY in Banjul, The Gambia. Their work ensures this critical anti-vehicle barrier remains fully operational, serving as a vital first line of defense in protecting U.S. personnel and facilities.

Through their expertise and dedication, they continue to support the U.S. Diplomatic Security mission abroad and help keep our diplomatic posts safe and secure. 💪

CE2 Tran completed quarterly Itemiser maintenance and repairs, ensuring critical equipment stays reliable and ready. Meanwhile, EO2 Campbell and STS Cornett conducted camera maintenance to keep surveillance systems clear and fully operational in support of U.S. operations and regional security.

Teamwork on and off the job! ✅🔑

EO1 Merriman and CE1 Keller worked in the FRC key shop cutting keys to fulfill a constituent post work order, helping ensure secure access and continued mission support.

The teamwork didn’t stop there. EO1 Merriman and logistician Ally Cornett also joined the ESC FRC team for their monthly gathering, taking on a rock-climbing session at a local facility to build camaraderie and strengthen team bonds.

From supporting operational needs to strengthening the team behind the mission, it’s all part of keeping things moving forward.
