On the occasion of the 20th Establishment Day of Shree Basdol Co-operative, Banepa-12, Kavre, SMAH was honored to partner in serving the community through a general health screening and heart check-up program for children below 14 years.

More than 100 children benefited from this meaningful initiative. We are grateful to Shree Basdol Co-operative for giving us the opportunity to serve, care, and make a difference in the lives of our children.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Nirmal, Assistant Professor, Department of General Surgery, Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, Jumla, at SMAH for hands-on training in diagnostic colonoscopy. His active participation in both theoretical and practical learning reflects our shared commitment to strengthening healthcare beyond borders. Dr. Nirmal expressed special gratitude to Dr. Dhruba Kadel, GRVD and the SMAH team for their support and guidance.

We are grateful that the knowledge and skills gained at SMAH will help bring better diagnostic care to underserved and needy patients in the remote Karnali region.

SMAH was honored to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) training to the members of the Banepa Chapleti Morning Walk Group, empowering our community with lifesaving skills.

We are also pleased to announce the signing of a Health Care Services Discount MOU, offering 10% discount on medical and ancillary services and 5% discount on pharmaceutical products (excluding orthopedic implants) provided by SMAH.

A patient traveled all the way from Okhaldhunga to SMAH for specialized care. Our Cancer Care Unit successfully performed a USG-guided lung biopsy for a complicated lung mass located near the heart, led by Dr. Thakur Koirala and team.
