We have now Established and Registered an umbrella organisation WEaRE. 'Water Environment and Risk Education'. Enabling us to Absorb the KVWRMI and extend our Environmental activities beyond only Kathmandu Valley. However the Water Security issues within KTM Valley remain paramount, spearheaded by our continued "Respect Water Campaign" in all Schools, as part of our 'Community Outreach' Program.
WEaRE also embraces our Risk Awareness/ DRR/ H&S activities within 'all' Schools and beyond, including promotion of Emergency Response Drills and Fire awareness & training and 1st AID plus Health and Safety - Crowd Dynamics provision in schools...
Simultaneously the Education facet embraces All, plus our T4 program of 'Training Trainers to Train Teachers' ( partnership with UNDRR GETI HQ Team in Incheon RoK) to integrate DRR / Environment & Climate Change/ Crisis Response Special Skills into the daily school responsibilities and to be drip fed into the curricula and prioritised within extra curricula activities.
We have officially Teamed with , specialists in the provision of STEM/ STEAM and vocational training services to support a comprehensive Upskill Provision to public and private Schools across Nepal.
Our New offices, dedicated to Schools/ Education and DRR Resources/ Training, are in Chhetrapati Thamel....
along with our established MPI Rural Muncipalities 'Master Planning Initiative' program Offices, which also integrates the WEaRE programs within its Nine Sector MP strategy service provision to Rural Municipality Mayors/ Chairmen Teams.
We continue to seek a diverse range of partnerships to increase the capacity and speed to outreach asap to the most vulnerable, and to meet identified needs and fill the Sector and Geographical gaps. Mapping of contributory activities across Nepal is a priority.
