On September 26, David, Chuck and Al represented PCSO at the PSA: Detect & Protect event at Carlington Community Health Centre in Ottawa.

Hosted by the Walnut Foundation and Sunnybrook Hospital, the event focused on prostate cancer awareness and early detection. Our team was there to connect with participants and highlight the local support available for men and families navigating prostate cancer.

What a night at the Volunteer Ottawa VOscars! 🎉We had a couple of prostate cancer advocates in the room, spreading the important message of early detection and peer support. Great day in Arnprior! We recently took part in the Arnprior Seniors Information & Active Living Fair. We met people from local organizations across the region, including the Older Adult Centres' Association of Ontario, which PCSO is proud to belong to.
We also connected with the Renfrew County Virtual Triage & Assessment Centre, and they offer something worth sharing: if you don't have a family doctor and want a PSA blood test, you can contact them for help getting one.
