BGC Ottawa is proud to share that we have received $39,000 in funding from the Government of Ontario through the Francophone Community Grants Program. 💚

This investment is helping us better serve our Francophone and French-speaking members and their families. With this support, we are incorporating French into our programming, communicating directly with parents in French and building new partnerships with local French-language schools.

Every child deserves to feel at home, and that includes feeling at home in their language!

What a weekend! 🏅

BGC Ottawa's Walk This Way Members crossed the finish line at the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend 5K this Saturday and we could not be prouder!

After 12 weeks of training, exploring Ottawa's neighbourhoods and building friendships along the way, they showed up and gave it everything they had. And as tradition goes, BGC Ottawa Members sound the horn to kick off the 5K races on Saturday afternoon. 🎺

Huge congratulations to every single Member who ran this weekend. You are all superstars! 💛

Tomorrow is the day! 🏁

Our Walk This Way Members are ready to celebrate 20 years of steps, smiles and community at Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend.

From Parliament Hill to Britannia Beach, these kids have walked all across Ottawa this spring and now it is time for the big finish.

Look what our Members did!

The BGC Ottawa Thunderbolts finished their season 31-1 and brought home back-to-back championships, a first in league history. But the part that sticks with us isn't the trophies.

Nearly 20 of last year's players are now in college and university. For many, it was their first time on a plane, their first time away from home, their first scholarship. One earned a full prep school spot in Toronto. Others are already coming back to coach and mentor the next group.

"It really does change the direction of someone's life," says Head Coach Kian Nejad. "And it doesn't stop with them. It carries into their families, their communities and the next group of players."
