EcoEquitable is a non-profit organization providing a bridge to social and economic integration for people in need, especially immigrant women, while greening the community. EcoEquitable offers intensive a 15-week sewing programs to immigrant women - allowing them to join the Canadian textile industry.

A HUGE congratulations🥳 to every single one of our Sewing for Jobs graduates of this winter semester. We’re so proud of you and all the ways you’ve overcome to get to this point.

💜And to every person who has supported our program thus far, from our instructors, teaching assistants and beyond, we send you our warmest thanks for all the effort which has enabled us to see our students through to the end.

Here’s a little glimpse into our most recent volunteer appreciation gathering, a moment we’re happy to feature this National Volunteer Week💜

Theres never enough ways to celebrate the people behind the work- those who have already contributed 1,544 hours, supported 11 weekend fabric sales and 16 evening hours, lead as dedicated board members and teaching assistants and processed over 10,000 pounds of fabric in 2025 alone.

To our volunteers: THANK YOU💜

Our sun room will feature:
