Yesterday, our incredible Year 6 Girls WON the Divisional Basketball tournament! These girls played with heart, tenacity and phenomenal teamwork in each game to get the W on the day! They will now progress to Regionals in the near future. Thank you to the team, the parents and coach, Matt who represented Pearcedale Primary School with all our school values on display for the entire day! Good luck at Regionals, girls! We are so proud of you!

💙 Raising Happy & Healthy Kids
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing posts about our school values and what they look like in action across our school community. We’ll also be making connections to our Respectful Relationships program, which supports students to build positive relationships, understand and manage emotions, and develop respect for themselves and others.

Recently, we celebrated the award winners from our Term 3 Spelling Bee. Congratulations to Brody T from Year 4 on your achievement of School Champion. A massive thank you to Janet Troup from the Tooradin and District Lions Club for the kind and generous donation of a Kindle e-reader as our major prize. Thank you to C and D Trophies for the medallions and trophy, and to Scholastic and Lamont Books for the book prizes and vouchers. Year Level winners included Maeve B (Year 3), Brody T (Year 4), James B (Year 5) and Thea B (Year 6). A big thank you to Mr Wilkinson for all his work and organisation behind the scenes! 🐝

We are excited to announce that the school will be partnering with the Glasses for Kids (GFK) program next year.
GFK is a department initiative that brings optometrists into schools to screen and test the vision of students in Foundation, Grade 1, 2 and 3 FREE of charge. If a child requires glasses, they are then provided with a free pair of glasses (chosen by the student during their appointment).
Next week families of students who will be in grade F-3 next year will receive a consent form. Please return this by week 9, or register digitally to ensure your child can participate.

A highlight from Term 3 was the Grade 3’s first ever school camp! They had plenty of adventures down at Camp Manyung, with perfect weather for beach combing, the giant swing, flying fox, bike skills, tree rolling, and more! They loved being in the cabins with their friends, the activities, and the FOOD!!

Make sure you visit this incredible Pearcedale Primary School AUSLAN display at the Mornington Library created by Miss Kick. It showcases artwork created by Grade 5, Grade 6, and some Grade 3 students.
There are also examples of games that are played in AUSLAN classes too! 🤟🏽
