💛 A few photos from RUOK? Day at LPS today!

It was nice to see our students adding a splash of yellow and getting involved in some RUOK? Day activities in their classrooms.

A special shout-out to one of our parents, Megan B, for dropping off some delicious RUOK? cookies for our staff! 💛 Thank you so much - they were very much appreciated!

And a little reminder that checking in with the people around us matters not just today, but every day. You never know when someone might really need (or be grateful for) a simple and genuine conversation.

Our Year 6 and prep musical is fast approaching.

We are now welcoming the wider school community to purchase tickets if they would like to come along.
This includes any year 6 or prep families that would like to purchase more tickets than their original 4 allotted.
All 3 performance still have seats available. The link is listed below:

Year 6 students perform each night.
Prep KW is performing on Monday 14th September.
Prep B and Prep V are performing on Tuesday 15th September.
Prep H and Prep G are performing on Thursday 17th September.

The musical is held in the Langwarrin Performing Arts Centre (where we hold our assemblies) and each night starts at 6pm.
The show will go for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Encore Videography are filming our musical this year. They have done the last few years and do a brilliant job. Here is the link for the option of choosing a DVD, USB or Digital Download.

We hope to see many families there to support our prep and year 6 students.

Good afternoon parents,
please see the time table for the district athletics on Monday. Please make sure your child has plenty to drink and eat for the day. Students will need to wear their hats when they are not competing.

There will be a coffee van at the venue and the canteen will be open for parents to purchase.

Today we completed a mandatory lockdown drill. All students and staff did a great job of following the procedures that we have in place. Our leadership and OHS teams will now collect feedback and identify any follow-up actions so we can keep improving our Emergency Management Plan procedures.
