Today was our final day at the 99th National FFA Convention, and we spent the entire day enjoying everything the convention had to offer! We explored the expo and trade show, attended some awesome workshops, and took part in the 2nd General Session. It was a jam-packed day, but everyone had a blast!

Tomorrow, we’ll be heading back home to wrap up another amazing FFA convention trip! 💙💛

Today, we started our morning at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where we took the *Kiss the Bricks* tour! 🏁 Our kiddos learned all about the Indy 500 and the history behind this iconic race. They even got the opportunity to step onto the track and kiss the bricks! ❤️

After the tour, we explored the museum, which was filled with so many interesting facts and fascinating history about the Indy 500 and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Later, we headed to the convention to attend the first opening session of the 99th Annual FFA Convention! 💙💛

This evening, we’re winding down by the fire, enjoying s’mores, sharing lots of laughs, and relaxing before another busy day tomorrow! 🔥🍫

Today, we headed to Kentucky to visit the Ark Encounter! If you’ve never heard of it, it’s a life-size replica of Noah’s Ark, filled with so much history and information about the ark, the animals aboard, and what life might have been like during that time.

It was such a fun way for the kids to learn more about biblical history, explore something new, and get out and stretch their legs!

We’re ending the night with dinner at Cracker Barrel, the perfect way to wrap up a fun-filled day of exploring and making memories together! 🍽️

If your student is planning to show commercial ewes, market lambs, market steers, all goat species and all hog species at OYE please contact Ms. Ralls.

I need all nomination kit money and how many of each kit you need by October 27th. They are $20 a head.

Commercial ewes, market lambs, market steers, all goats and all hogs must nominate to be eligible to show at the 2027 Oklahoma Youth Expo.

ALL Heifers and Breeding Ewes DO NOT NOMINATE, they only go through entries.

I will not be here this week as I am going to be in Indianapolis but I will be collecting nominations and money for nominations when I get back next week!

If you have any questions please reach out!

Yesterday we kicked off our trip to Indianapolis for the National FFA Convention!

We started the trip by stopping at the Wilson Creek Battlefield and museum where the kids got to learn a little more about the civil war and how it impacted our nation.

Next we made a pit stop at Bass Pro where they got to walk around the first Bass Pro Shop that was ever built!

Our last stop for the night was the St. Louis Gateway Arch. We walked around the park took some pictures and stretched our legs before dinner.

Then it was to the hotel for the night to rest up for another busy/long day today!

So incredibly proud of these students! ❤️👏
Today, Rigyn Newsom and Bentley Brakefield competed in the Regional Greenhand Quiz, and both advanced to the finals! Out of the competition, Rigyn placed 10th and Bentley placed 8th! 🎉
These two have spent weeks preparing for this contest, and I couldn’t be more proud of the time, effort, and dedication they put into it. Their hard work and determination truly show what it means to be committed and strive to do your best.
Although they won’t be advancing to State this year, they have accomplished so much and should be incredibly proud of themselves! They represented our chapter well, and their hard work did not go unnoticed.
Congratulations, Rigyn and Bentley! You both did an amazing job, and I am so proud of everything you’ve accomplished! Keep working hard and reaching for your goals! 💙🌟
