UPR is too important to Puerto Rico’s future to be dismantled by austerity.

This week, alongside my colleagues, I urged the Fiscal Oversight Board to reject harmful cuts, protect pensions, cap tuition costs, and invest in public higher education.

Yesterday, I introduced a War Powers Resolution to end Trump’s war with Iran.

The president has no authority to launch our country into another reckless war in the Middle East. Congress must reclaim its constitutional authority and stop this escalation before it spirals further.
