Small manufacturers provide critical services for our economy, but the current and chaotic tariff policies are threatening their businesses and the livelihoods of their employees. We must support our local manufacturers and protect American jobs.

Thank you, George Altamura, for your hard work and leadership with Hands Across The Valley In 1994, when George learned that the Napa Food Bank was running out of money, he immediately sprang into action. He founded Hands Across the Valley to raise crucial funds for local food banks and nonprofits that feed our community. Since then, his dedication has helped Hands Across the Valley raise over $20 million to keep families, seniors, and children fed. Thank you for your decades of service, George!

Americans have paid $3,800 more for goods since this administration took office. Instead of lowering inflation, this administration is picking a trade war with our ally Canada and throwing U.S. cattle producers under the bus. We must focus on policies that lower the cost of living and protect our workforce.

Rep. Mike Thompson - Sept 2026 Virtual Town Hall

Voted “No” on Congressional Republicans' government funding bill. This bill is bad policy. It funds the unauthorized war with Iran and fails to rein in ICE, which is out of control.
This is a bad deal for Americans, and I won’t support it.

Thank you, Hands Across The Valley, for your work supporting Napa County’s food safety-net programs!

Since 1994, they’ve raised over $20 million to keep families, seniors, and children fed. 49ers quarterback Steve Young, pro golfer Johnny Miller, filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola and I were the first pizza cooks at the first Hands Across the Valley!
