While many students are enjoying their summer break, Dax is continuing to make a difference at Hickerson! 💛🖤☀️

Today, Dax took care of watering our Aviary Outdoor Classroom 💦🌿, helping ensure that our plants stay healthy during these hot summer days. From pollinator-friendly flowers 🦋🌼 to the many plants that make our outdoor classroom a special place to learn, every watering day helps keep our gardens growing strong!

Our Nursery Workers are more than just gardeners—they are caretakers, problem-solvers, and leaders who understand the importance of serving their school community. 🌱👏

At Miramar Beach the sunshine was bright,
And the sparkling waves were a beautiful sight! 🌊✨

They walked the shoreline with sand on their toes,
Enjoying the beach wherever it goes! 🏖️😊
From salty breezes to ocean views,
There was plenty of fun for the whole beach crew! 🌞🐚

They splashed in the water and played in the sand,
Making summer memories so perfectly planned! 💦❤️
Whether relaxing by the shore or exploring each beach mile,
Flat Bonni enjoyed every wave and every smile! 🌊😄

With blue skies above and white sand below,
This Miramar adventure was quite the show! 🌴💛

Before many of us had even started our day, Lillian was already hard at work watering our front planters and herb garden. 💦🌱 Her dedication helps ensure that our plants stay healthy, vibrant, and ready to welcome students back when school begins. 🌼🌿

Our gardens don't take a summer vacation, and we're incredibly grateful for Nursery Workers like Lillian who faithfully give their time to care for these important outdoor learning spaces. 🌻🐝🦋

Mrs. Hysell sat down in the dental chair,
Expecting a cleaning appointment there! 😁🪥
But what happened next was quite a surprise,
She couldn't believe her very own eyes! 👀✨

There was Flat Bonni—what a sight to see!
"What's she doing here?" thought Mrs. Hysell with glee! 😄📸
But then came a shock that was even more silly,
When the mask came down and she spotted Mrs. Shelby! 😲🎭

"Wait... what?!?" Mrs. Hysell had to say,
"Can Mrs. Shelby really work this way?" 🤔😂
Not only does she teach our Pre-K crew,
She's a dental hygienist too! 🦷🍎

From the classroom to the dentist's chair,
Mrs. Shelby's talents are everywhere! 🌟❤️
Flat Bonni loved this unexpected sight,

The Aviary is home to many beautiful plants that support pollinators and provide hands-on learning opportunities for our students. 🦋🐝🌼 Thanks to dedicated Nursery Workers like Emma, these special spaces continue to flourish even when school is out!
