Highland Rim Habitat for Humanity

Highland Rim Habitat for Humanity We are a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization bringing people together and building homes in
Coffee and Franklin County in Tennessee.

Highland Rim Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, non-denominational Christian organization that is dedicated to building simple, decent, and affordable homes in the southern middle Tennessee counties of Coffee and Franklin since 1992. Highland Rim Habitat for Humanity (HRHFH) is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International which has over 2,300 affiliates worldwide. HRHFH partners with volun

teers and low income families to fulfill its purpose. Homeowner families are chosen according to their need; their ability to repay the no-profit, no-interest mortgage; and their willingness to work in partnership with HRHFH.Volunteers provide most of the labor, while individuals and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. As part of the home building process, partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Partner families are required to undergo home maintenance and household budget training to ensure ownership success. The houses are sold to these families at no profit and with no interest. All mortgage payments are invested in a revolving fund that is used to build houses for the next pre-qualified families. How You Can Help:
Your support will help HRHFH bring hope to families struggling to obtain affordable homes and make our communities a better place for all of us. This support can take the form of donating funds and materials or by volunteering your time and labor.

Today we are at High on the Hog in Wi******er, we are proud to share the mission of Habitat for Humanity and connect with members of our community about the importance of giving back.

Habitat is more than building homes — it’s about building hope, opportunity, and stronger communities throughout Coffee County and Franklin County.

We encourage anyone looking to make a difference to get involved by volunteering, attending events, supporting local families, or participating on a board or committee. Community support is what makes this mission possible, and there is a place for everyone to serve.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared conversations with us, and continues to support Habitat’s mission. ❤️
