✨Teacher Tuesday: Meet Mrs. Curtis✨
Lynn Curtis is our Resource Teacher for grades 2–5! Lynn has been in education for 25 years and has experience teaching both middle and elementary school as a special education and general education teacher. She has also served as an elementary school counselor. Lynn loves working with kids and especially enjoys seeing her students grow and experience the excitement that comes from recognizing their own success. In her classroom, she emphasizes a growth mindset and the “power of yet,” rewarding students for their effort, perseverance, and willingness to take risks. She works with each student to find strategies that help them learn and be successful. Outside of school, Lynn loves spending time with her dogs, reading, and playing board games with her family. Most of all, she hopes her students remember the connections they made with her and with the other students in their groups and know that she will always be cheering them on, even after they leave Bonillas. “My students are amazing. I feel blessed to come to school each day and have the opportunity to work with you. Watching you learn, grow, overcome challenges, and celebrate your successes is the sparkle in my life.”
