After 38 years of service, Child Care Connection said goodbye to our staff assistant for Human Resources, Sandy Henne.
A Lawrenceville native and current resident, Sandy joined Child Care Connection in 1988; previously she worked at the Princeton YMCA, ETS, Heinemann Electric, and Prince Manufacturing. In her spare time, Sandy enjoys spending time outdoors, Bible-study and other Christ-centered activities, music (especially contemporary Christian), puzzles, good food and conversation with friends, and spending time with her daughter and granddog, Sonny. A lover of the arts, Sandy also plans to take up sculpting, painting, and sketching, as well as learn to play the Appalachian dulcimer in her retirement. She hopes to travel more, especially to the Canadian Rockies. We hope that she is able to enjoy all that and much more in the coming years.
Sandy was an integral part of our agency for almost four decades. Her kindness, dedication, and commitment to confidentiality will always be valued. She was beloved by her co-workers and was always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. But Sandy will be remembered most for her love of children, a value at the very heart of Child Care Connection. As she embarks on her new life of retirement, CCC thanks Sandy for her many contributions to our organization. 🩵
