Telehealth makes it easier for New Jerseyans to access the care they need.

Today, the Assembly Health Committee today advanced legislation (A4357) sponsored by Assemblywoman Margie Donlon that would permanently extend telehealth pay parity in the State. This bill assists in preserving the accessible virtual healthcare option that patients rely on daily by ensuring that providers receive fair reimbursement for virtual appointments.

For many families, a school meal can make all the difference.

Legislation (A3882) sponsored by Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin was signed into law today to require public schools to prominently post links to school meal applications and informational resources online, helping to connect eligible students with the meals they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

In just over two weeks, New Jersey will take center stage again in America's 250th anniversary celebration.

The Assembly Tourism, Gaming and the Arts Committee took its meeting on the road to Liberty State Park yesterday to discuss preparations for Sail4th 250 and other events commemorating the nation's semiquincentennial.

With tall ships arriving in New York Harbor, an air parade planned for July 4, and visitors expected from across the country and around the world, the celebration will shine a spotlight on New Jersey and all our state has to offer.
