Many church leaders have parents in their congregations who are raising children with ADHD. These parents are often exhausted and discouraged after trying countless strategies, yet the same struggles—impulsiveness, forgetfulness, emotional outbursts, and poor follow-through—continue.
A biblical, heart-based approach recognizes that ADHD is real and that neurological differences can affect attention, impulse control, and executive functioning. At the same time, it looks beyond behavior and addresses the heart, offering biblical and practical ways to help children grow.
Parents don’t need more guilt. They need hope—and the church can help provide it.
