Happy Juneteenth! At the June 16 Board of Supervisors meeting earlier this week, the Stafford County Board of Supervisors presented a proclamation for Juneteenth. We celebrate Juneteenth because it marks the day when all enslaved individuals finally received the news that they were free.

Reminder that Stafford County offices are closed today in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
