Good Dads is a nonprofit with a mission to help kids and communities one dad at a time.

Good Dads began when business leaders in Springfield, Missouri recognized the impact of father absence on child well-being and came together for the purpose of supporting engaged fathers. They understand the value in helping fathers become more engaged with their children. They welcome the chance to promote father involvement in a way that benefits them, their customers and their community. They appreciate the potential to provide leadership in ways unique to their position.

Laughter and smiles abounded in our recent Good Dads Strong Schools events! Huge shout-outs to elementary schools across the state who are welcoming fathers and father-figures for fun and unforgettable character-building activities! Mount Vernon Elementary in Mt. Vernon, Ozark North Elementary in Ozark, and Alpha Hart Lewis Elementary and Blue Ridge Elementary in Columbia all had a great turnout this month! What a perfect way to start a school morning! ❤️❤️❤️

Please join us in giving a huge congratulations to the eight dads who completed the Good Dads FORGE program this week at our Good Dads Columbia MO chapter! These dads have completed the full program, which takes about 3 months and covers a wide range of dad-centered topics like parenting skills, healthy relationships and money management. What an amazing accomplishment!

With the leadership of facilitators Chad and Shane, as well as class mentor Mondrell, these dads are doing awesome work! Thank you as well to Fresh Start in Columbia for generously offering classroom space.

Congrats, dads! We are so proud of you for this big accomplishment! 🥳
