We’re grateful to Chairman Phil Mendelson for taking time to hear from Anita, who shared her experiences as an Easterseals early childhood educator and a recipient of DC’s Pay Equity Fund. Anita has seen firsthand the positive impact of A2Q-funded investments in our DC Child Development Center. Bottom line: Childcare is a workforce issue and city funding is critical to centers, teachers, and parents.
