Many of our tenants arrive at their new home with very little. Something as simple as a cozy couch or an attractive kitchen table can lift an enormous weight off someone's shoulders as they begin their mental health recovery journey💙

The way tax credits work is that you can receive a 50% state tax credit on contributions, which can significantly reduce the tax burden. LGBTQIA+ homelessness is a crisis we can't stay silent about 🏳️‍🌈🏠 This we're shining a light on a reality that doesn't get talked about enough.

LGBTQIA+ youth are over 120% more likely to experience homelessness than their non-LGBTQIA+ peers, and they make up as much as 40% of all youth experiencing homelessness, despite representing less than 10% of the overall youth population.

At Housing Unlimited, we believe that safe, affordable, and affirming housing is a right - not a privilege. We stand with the LGBTQIA+ community this month and every month, and we remain committed to ensuring that every individual in mental health recovery has a place to call home, no matter who they are or who they love🏡
