The City of Seven Hills is now accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Fire Chief.
This position serves as the administrative and operational leader of the Seven Hills Fire Department and is responsible for the overall management, leadership, staffing, training, emergency operations, fire prevention activities, and strategic direction of the department.
APPLICATION PERIOD:
May 13, 2026 at 8:00 AM through June 3, 2026 at 4:00 PM
Internal applicants from the Seven Hills Fire Department must currently hold the rank of Captain or higher.
External applicants must possess full-time fire service command-level experience.
Minimum qualifications include:
• Minimum fifteen (15) years fire service experience
• Minimum five (5) years command-level experience
• Firefighter II
• Fire Officer II
• Fire Instructor
• Fire Inspector
• EMT-Basic certification or higher
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License
The selection process will include a resume review process and Structured Panel Interview.
If more than eight (8) qualified applicants apply, resumes, qualifications, certifications, and experience will be evaluated using a standardized scoring process to identify the top eight (8) candidates advancing to the Structured Panel Interview phase.
Structured Panel Interviews are scheduled for July 16, 2026.
