ODOR MESSAGE FROM COLUMBIA GAS: This is Ben Cutler from Columbia Gas of Ohio. As many of you may be aware, there has been a recent odor of gas reported along State Road between Lisa and Maple in North Royalton.
We have identified a non-hazardous gas leak in the area, and our local operations team is working to expedite repairs in the coming weeks. While this leak is not classified as hazardous, we understand that the odor can still be noticeable and concerning.
Crews will continue to monitor the situation closely. In the meantime, if you believe you smell natural gas, please contact our emergency line at 1-800-344-4077.
As always, if you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We want to assure you that we are aware of the situation and are working as quickly as possible to address it given the increased attention and community concern.
