The 25th anniversary of 9/11 is a somber moment when we remember not only the Citizens, but the Firefighters, Police Officers and other first responders who raced to the World Trade center to save lives only to lose their own. Our few minutes of silent reflection is our annual tribute. The phrase “Never Forget” is important as time passes on since the event. There are only five of us who witnessed this tragic event still at the Department. Many of our members were not even born when 9/11 happened. “Never Forget” allow the heroic stories to be passed on making their memories last for eternity. All of our members, young and old, share the same gratitude as we remember their ultimate sacrifice.

Knowing how to safely yield helps emergency responders get where they need to go. If an emergency vehicle is approaching, stay alert, safely move out of its path and follow your state's laws.

🚨 When approaching a stopped emergency vehicle with flashing lights, move into a non-adjacent lane or slow down if you can't safely change lanes. Move Over laws are in all 50 states!

North Royalton Mayor Paul Marnecheck has been in contact with FirstEnergy, who states that their crews have been dispatched and are in route to investigate and restore power as quickly as possible. Thursday, July 30th - Hydrant flushing Update - Crews will be in Ward 1 on the following streets: Timber Ridge Drive, Lakeview Court, Valleyview Trail, Valleyview Court, Rainbow Lane, Ripley Road, Yvonne Drive, Yorkview Drive West, Yorkview Drive, East and Yorkview Drive.
