Wilder Programs include children's mental health services, school success and early childhood development, adult and Family mental health, housing services, and services for the aging. Wilder Research produces over 150 reports each year including key studies on homelessness, immigration, and early childhood health. The Wilder Center is a meeting space for individuals and organizations addressing community issues.

Wilder alumni Rep. Maria Isa is a powerful example of how the Community Equity Program helps neighbors build collective power at the Capitol.

When developing new work reporting requirements for Medicaid this session, Minnesota policymakers must broadly define exemptions while increasing flexibility for enrollment and enforcement.

They must minimize red tape by simplifying processes and strengthening eligibility and enrollment; otherwise, ELIGIBLE Minnesotans will lose coverage.

Right now, Minnesota policymakers are grappling with how to implement new federal rules for Medicaid, including requiring some folks to report how many hours they work or volunteer.

They must act this year to protect access to health care by reducing bureaucracy, providing clear definitions and guidance, and streamlining processes so people continue to receive the health care they need with limited disruptions and red tape.
