Give your child a summer filled with learning, fun, and new experiences with Saginaw Public Schools Summer School!

🗓 June 9 – July 16
⏰ Monday – Thursday | 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

✅ Current Kindergarten–4th Grade Students
✅ Sites at Jessie Loomis and Kempton
✅ Breakfast, Lunch & Transportation Provided

🚌 LOOMIS SUMMER SCHOOL BUS ROUTES NOW AVAILABLE

Families with students attending Loomis Summer School can now review bus route information, including morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off times for summer learning programs.

Please take a few moments to review the attached transportation schedule and identify your student's designated stop and times.

⚠️ Important Reminder:
Students should be at their bus stop early, as buses may arrive up to 5 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.

Bus #64

Our goal is to ensure every student arrives safely and on time for a successful summer learning experience.

Questions regarding transportation should be directed to the Saginaw Public Schools Transportation Department.

If your student will need transportation, please complete the transportation request form as soon as possible to help us prepare routes and ensure students are assigned transportation for the upcoming school year.

What a night for Loomis Wildcats! We had artists, poets, comedians, singers, and dancers!! Our community partner; Omega Psi Phi Fraternity sponsored the event! Thanks to Omega Psi Phi we had cash prizes for our wildcats and dinner for our families!
Special thanks to our very own, “the Jackson 2!” Mr. Jackson, BI and Ms. Jackson, school social worker! They hosted the event and helped the students audition and prepare for their pieces. They decorated beautifully with a candy land theme! 🍭🍬🍫

☀️📚 Registration is now open for the 2026 Rising 6th Grade Summer Enrichment Program!

This program is designed to help students strengthen academic skills and build confidence as they transition into middle school.

📍 Location: Saginaw PD Center
📅 June 22 – July 30, 2026
🕗 Monday–Thursday | 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The program is:
✅ Mandatory for identified current 5th grade students
✅ Encouraged for all rising 6th graders

Families of identified students will receive direct district notification.
