The initial enrollment period for our new FlashVote resident survey panel is winding down, and we appreciate the more than 400 community members who have signed up to take short, one-minute surveys from the City!
FlashVote makes it easy for residents to give ongoing input, which will be used to inform City decisions. Enrollment takes less than one minute, and responses are always kept anonymous. Personal or demographic information collected by FlashVote is never shared with the City or anyone else.
While FlashVote sign up will remain open indefinitely, we’re spreading the word one last time before sending our first survey soon. Sign up online at our link in the comments or call (775) 235-2240 to participate by phone or text only.
When enrolling, you can determine how surveys are received – whether by email, text, or phone call. You’ll receive a notification whenever there is a new survey, and you will have 48 hours to participate before voting closes. Once a survey is closed, everyone who participates will automatically receive a summary of the overall results and be able to see how their responses compare to the group.
The topic will typically change with every survey, and could ask about issues such as coastal resiliency, traffic safety, housing, budget priorities, economic development, parks and recreation, communications preferences, parking, public safety, conservation, and more.
Thanks for signing up and for taking part in your local government!
