All branches of the Jackson-George Regional Library System will be CLOSED Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.
📚 We will reopen Tuesday, September 8, at our regular hours.
Our digital resources are available 24/7, so your library is never far away—even when our buildings are closed!

When Spirit Week makes its way into storytime, you KNOW something exciting is happening at St. Martin High School!

St. Martin Library crew celebrated school spirit, shared some storytime fun, and even worked on a special project that we can’t wait to share soon! 👀📖

And apparently, we had two Pitbulls and a P!nk running around the library, too! 😂🎤 Now THAT is a storytime!

But while we’re showing our school spirit, September gives us another reason to celebrate…

📚 You may be surprised where your library pops up next!

Today, the Jackson-George Regional Library System took the library beyond our walls and into the heart of the St. Martin community!

We set up pop-up library tables at the D’Iberville/St. Martin Chamber of Commerce and The Citizens Bank on Lemoyne Boulevard, creating new opportunities to connect with residents, businesses, and community partners.

These partnerships are about more than outreach — they are about building relationships, expanding access, and showing our community that the library is wherever people are.

During Library Card Sign-Up Month, we’re also reminding everyone that a library card is more than a card. It is your connection to books, technology, digital resources, learning, entertainment, programs, and so much more.

Strong communities are built through strong connections — and your library is proud to be part of that connection.

A special thank you to the D’Iberville/St. Martin Chamber of Commerce and The Citizens Bank for welcoming JGRLS into your spaces. We are excited to see where these partnerships will take the St. Martin Public Library and our entire library system.
