Pine Grove’s Mission
We are off and running for what is going to be a foundationally strong and innovative school
year for your children. As you may have heard, the PGE staff came up with our new mission,
“Building the Bridge From Foundation to Innovation.” If you were able to attend Curriculum
Night, you heard more about what that mission means to us as we educate your children. Our goal in provi

ding a World Class Education is to prepare your children for their post
secondary career and we believe it’s never too soon to think about what skills our students need
to carry with them as they progress through the education system and into the world. Employers tell us that the main skills and attributes needed for success are the 4 C’s:
collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and communication. We are committed to ensuring that
foundational skills are strong, such as the ability to calculate, decode, and comprehend while
also instilling a sense of innovation by engaging students in opportunities to think, wonder,
create and imagine.
