It is with our profound sadness to announce the passing of one of our own. Zak McKeon passed away this morning. Zak was a new addition to the QF family and was just voted in as a probationary member in May. He was extremely excited and very active in this short time with us. He was willing to learn and was always willing to jump into any task you asked of him. He was moving to be an incredible asset to the Quaker Farms Fire Co and the Oxford Fire Dept as a whole. We will miss him dearly. Forever in our hearts and prayers Zak.

Afternoon Oxford! We are at that time of year where we experience our first brush fire season. Much like the fall time, early spring brings higher temps and lower humidity.
