Happy Halloween!

We had a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween with our Cardio Drumming group and Adult Day Center! There were lots of smiles, laughter, fun, and Halloween spirit all around! Our Adult Day Center even had some very special visitors stop by during their Halloween party, making the day even more memorable!

Discover the History of Johnny Clem!
Join us Friday, November 6, at 12:30 PM at Heritage Hall for a fascinating look at the life of Johnny Clem, the young Civil War drummer boy who became one of the youngest noncommissioned officers in U.S. Army history.

Presented by Susan Reid, this program will explore Johnny’s remarkable wartime experiences and the lasting legacy he left behind.

Digital literacy is about more than technology. It’s about building confidence, staying connected, accessing information, and maintaining independence. Digital equity means ensuring older adults have the skills and opportunities to participate in an increasingly digital world.

Make a Difference in Your Community!

LCAP has volunteer opportunities available for those looking to give back and help older adults in our community!

Meals on Wheels Helper: Help load and deliver meals by riding along with an LCAP team member. No driving required! Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday, approximately 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with flexibility based on route availability.

Dining Club Ambassador: Enjoy conversation, share information about LCAP events, and help clients feel connected. We need one volunteer on Tuesday, November 3, from 9:45 to 11:15 AM at IHOP, 651 Hebron Road in Heath.
