The Licking County Board of Health will hold its July meeting on July 28 rather than the normally scheduled date of July 21. The meeting will begin at 5:30PM, and it will be held at the Health Department, located at 675 Price Road in Newark.

Be on the lookout for severe weather tonight!

Thunderstorms are expected to develop late this afternoon and into tonight. Some severe storms will be possible. Damaging wind will be the main threat, although large hail and a few tornadoes will also be possible. The storms will also be capable of producing heavy downpours resulting in the potential for localized flash flooding.
