Join us next Saturday, May 30 from 9:30 - 11:30am for our 2026 StoryTrail™ Opening Celebration!

In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States, this year’s trail features "Midnight Riders: A Fun Song about the Ride of Paul Revere and William Dawes" by Michael Dahl. A tale of two brave riders, Paul Revere and William Dawes, great-great grandfather of Arboretum Co-founder Beman Dawes, who set out to warn colonists that the British were coming.

Our collaboration with the Licking County Library continues on opening day, with the Bookmobile and exciting activities for the whole family! Take home a free magazine from MagLiteracy and meet some animals from Heart of a Warrior Farm.

In addition, children ages 15 and under are free from 9:30 - 11:30am on May 30! Learn more at dawesarb.org.
