At our Legacy of Purpose Gala, celebrated 13 years in the making!

We brought together educators, families, civic leaders, and community champions to honor our founding kindergarten class as they prepare to become Purpose Prep’s first-ever graduating seniors.

We heard from alumni who started this journey as five-year-olds. We welcomed back who spoke at their elementary graduation. We honored the people and partners who helped build this legacy. And we were surprised by hometown hero with a scholarship announcement for our scholars.

From a vision on paper to Tennessee’s #1 charter school. From kindergarten dreams to cap-and-gown realities.

This is the Legacy of Purpose.

’s legacy of purpose was featured on the news today! shared a glimpse into the successful futures of two of our founding scholars. Genell is a senior at and a future nursing student, and Gavin graduated early with an associates degree from , and he is currently studying engineering at .

Their journeys are a powerful testament of what’s possible when provided with an excellent education, and them returning to share their wisdom with our current scholars speaks to the strength and connectedness of our community.

Their elementary graduation from marked an important milestone and reflected pride, excellence, and diligence from a community built on purpose. Their pursuit of educational excellence was unfolding in a magnificent way, and we knew for certain then that this milestone was one of many. Sure enough, years later, we are celebrating again! High school graduations await them in the spring, and their college dreams and future aspirations, first planted at Purpose Prep, are blooming. As they reach for even higher heights, we stand proudly by knowing that we have helped shape these incredible journeys. They are our legacy of purpose!

45 days until we celebrate a legacy fulfilled.

Thirteen years ago, kindergarteners walked through the halls of Purpose Preparatory Academy with backpacks almost as big as they were. This spring, we witness something powerful: those same scholars successfully matriculating through their full K–12 journey.

The Legacy of Purpose Gala is not just a celebration. It is the recognition of a purpose served, a dream answered, and a mission consistently delivered to students and their families.
