New research shows that even after receiving just 10 books, children demonstrate stronger early literacy skills and greater interest in books.

Partner Spotlight: Monroe Harding

For more than 130 years, Monroe Harding has been dedicated to helping young people build brighter futures.

Serving children, young adults, and families through programs focused on homes, healing, and opportunities, Monroe Harding provides critical support for youth in foster care and those transitioning out of state custody. As the only organization in Middle Tennessee offering a comprehensive continuum of services for current and former foster youth from birth to age 26, their work helps create stability, strengthen well-being, and open doors to lifelong success.

Through foster care services, supportive housing, mental health support, and their Youth Connections Resource Center, Monroe Harding is making a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable young people across our community.

We’re grateful for partners like Monroe Harding who are helping ensure every young person has the support they need to thrive.
