It's . These are the crews working 24/7/365. It means keeping a clear head when seconds matter. Showing compassion amid chaos. Processing a difficult call and preparing for the next one.

Today, we recognize the many kinds of strength it takes to be a first responder.

A little kindness goes a long way. If you see a first responder in the community, please take a moment to say thanks.

We may be a bit biased but what a great cause! Come support Landon, part of our MFD family!

Bobby the Blanket Baby stopped by Station 4 for a ride-along and to help our crew demonstrate our Emergency Child Restraints, crash-tested harnesses that keep kids from newborns up to 110 lbs securely strapped to the stretcher in the unlikely event of a collision, so our crew can continue treatment without unbuckling.

👍👍 Bobby gives them two thumbs up. We think. He doesn’t actually have thumbs.

FREE CAR SEAT INSPECTIONS: Did you know Monument Fire District offers car seat checks? Car seats can be confusing! Make an appointment and ensure your seat is installed correctly and your child is secure.

➡️ To schedule, call 719-484-0911 or email Carrie Fuller at [email protected], Monday through Friday, or visit monumentfire.org/car-seats for more information.
